The unique musical universe of Aggeliki Toubanaki at Stavros Tou Notou_club, for three more Sundays («Toubanaki Music Projects» – 10, 17, 24 February 2019),
Following its successful first presentation (December 2018) and the great response from the audience, the vocalist/performer and her fellow musicians present once more their exceptional musical performance, The “Toubanaki Music Projects”, based on experimentation and the overcoming of musical boundaries.
They present original compositions and songs of Modern Greek and international music scene as well. Balkan rhythms, East’s musical roads and Mediterranean Sea’s melodies blended with Jazz harmony and crossover interaction, natural and electronic sounds, loops, and vocal polyphonies.
The gypsy song “Djelem”, the legendary Mexican “Llorona”, the poet’s “Fata Morgana”, the polyphonic “Trigona”, the sad “Strange Fruit”…
