Music Now! Zografou Summer Festival 2026
Aggeliki Toubanaki will take part in the special tribute concert dedicated to the work of acclaimed Greek composer Christos Leontis, presented as part of the Music Now!
Zografou Summer Festival 2026. The concert celebrates a composer whose work has left a lasting mark on the history of Greek music and song.
This performance also holds a special personal significance for the artist, as it takes place at the Zografou Open-Air Municipal Theatre, a venue with which she shares a long-standing
artistic connection. In 2014, she presented a concert dedicated to music from around the world at the same theatre with her Vocal Circle ensemble, featuring internationally acclaimed
Lebanese singer, composer, and Berklee College of Music professor Christiane Karam as a
special guest.
Returning to this stage- this time to honor the legacy of Christos Leontis- marks a deeply meaningful moment, bringing together personal artistic memories with the enduring cultural heritage of Greek music.
