Ypogeia Revmata and Angeliki Toubanaki, accompanied by her band, come to Kyttaro on Saturday, November 1 for a unique concert.
Ypogeia Revmata—one of the most significant and enduring bands of the Greek rock scene—meet once again the explosive voice and commanding stage presence of Angeliki Toubanaki, who will be joined by her exceptional band, inviting us to a special evening where rock meets experimental voice, poetry meets electricity, and sounds will throw a grand celebration.
Their first onstage encounter took place at Ypogeia Revmata’s major 30th-anniversary concert at Technopolis City of Athens, where Angeliki Toubanaki elevated their songs “Agera mou Drapeti” and “Rosa Luxemburg” with her powerful vocals. A few months later, they reunited on the stage of Kyttaro, with the same inspiration.
From this creative dialogue emerged the desire for a double bill concert featuring beloved songs and many surprises they’re preparing live on stage! Joining them will be Apostolis Kaltsas—member of Angeliki Toubanaki’s band and longtime collaborator of Ypogeia Revmata.
