The “For Women” music project, which enchanted and moved the audience and was sold-out where it was presented, is coming for the first time to the “Kyttaro” music scene, on Thursdays 14 and 21 March 2024.
The “For Women” project was inspired by Aggeliki Toubanaki and is a series of concerts aimed at honouring and telling the stories of Women who stood out, inspired composers around the world and became songs of the people’s musical traditions.Women who did not fit into the frame of their time, free, visionary, revolutionary, full of light.
Aggeliki, along with her dear and virtuosi musicians of the traditional and the jazz scene and her dynamic female vocal group, create a vigorous musical blend of sounds and traditional rhythms, crossover improvisations, vocalisms, natural and electronic sounds.

The story For Women, for all of us…, starts from the entrance of Kyttaro. With the theme of equality and subversion of gender stereotypes, the public upon entering the space will have the opportunity to experience an interactive artistic journey, designed by the “FOR WOMEN Artivism project” project team.
The “For Women” project will collaborate with the wonderful women of the creativity and activation network “Melissa“, and the “Modistra” project
