Aggeliki Toumpanaki’s «FOR WOMEN» returns dynamically to the stage of the Half Note Jazz Club on Wednesday, March 4th, transforming the stage into a living circle of voices, stories, and emotions!
Uncompromising women, pioneers, revolutionaries, pirates, witches, and warrior women become songs that illuminate our souls and awaken our minds.
On stage, Aggeliki Toumpanaki, together with her exceptional collaborators—virtuosos of traditional and jazz music—play, improvise, and create a multidimensional sonic universe, with acoustic and electronic sounds, loops, polyphonies, a unique interactive experience for the audience.
Songs by beloved composers, as well as traditional songs from Greece, the Mediterranean, the Balkans, Anatolia, and Latin America, are woven into a sonic narrative that embraces Woman in all her forms.
