On May 3 & 4, at ISON Theater, we take the stage with Ilias Doumanis and meet the duo of Katerina Fotinaki and Evi Filippou.

Two duets, two distinct artistic paths, converging in a shared space: improvisation, rhythm, and live, spontaneous communication.

And in a venue I’ve longed to perform in—and hope to return to often.

ISON Theater – Dance, home to the THEAMA group (Theater of People with Disabilities) and the EXIS collective (Inclusive Dance Group), is a pioneering, universally accessible space, specially designed for inclusive education and artistic expression by disabled and non-disabled artists alike.

This concert is a starting point for dialogue. An opportunity for different artistic languages to meet—and to discover what might be born in that very moment. How does the voice converse with rhythm? How is speech transformed through sound?
