Thursday, October 15, 21:00 – Newman
The film “Those Who Touched War” continues its screenings in Athens. Through the ruins of an ammunition factory, the film evokes the memories of the people who came into contact with explosives before they reached the war fronts.
On Thursday, October 15, the screening at Newman will be followed by a special live musical encounter, featuring Nikos Sidirokastritis on percussion, Angeliki Toumbanaki on vocals and loops, and Dimitris Aronis (Moa Bones) on guitar.
The three musicians, who collaborated creatively on the film’s sound and musical landscape, are meeting on stage for the first time. Through live improvisation, their distinct musical languages converse without a predetermined path, creating a new listening experience, born in the moment.
